Will not sleep till I can get the name of the women's clothing store that used to be at Southgate Plaza near the old Brand Names ? There is clothing resale store there now....

What year do you think it existed?

Mid to late 70's until the mid 80's.....kind of an upscale store

Krasner's... or spelled somehow like that?

My daughter's grandmother use to work there back in the early 80's.

I read that Krasner's opened their first store at Southgate plaza in 1956

There’s a website, “thedepartmentstoremuseum.org” I think, that gives histories of department stores across the US. I don’t think Krasners is there but Hengerers, AM&A, Berger’s , pretty sure they’re all there. Lots of interesting stuff, eg, the Hengerer’s at Main & Eggert, now a Key bank facility I believe, was designed by a world famous architect whose name completely escapes me.
