False article regarding cell tower by Buff News

This tower was not built this week or last week. It was built last year. The co-location devices may have been constructed this week but NOT the 160 foot tower.

They say it was built without notice. Here's the public hearing notice from June 2017

It could not have been built that week. Monday (10/15) was the hearing and it was already up. The article was on 10/19.

It was all approved last year. The hearing on October 15th this year was just on letting Verizon co-locate on that existing tower. Exactly when the tower itself was built, I don't know. The biggest complainer was an attorney who should know better about what the regs are as far as communicating public hearings. They were given an opportunity last June. Only one person spoke and they weren't from their area of town.

My issue is that the speakers made it sound like the board has not been transparent which is totally false.
Everything is on their website, public hearings, public notices, agendas for town, planning and zoning boards.
You can subscribe to have the agendas emailed to you. You can listen to the audio recordings of the meetings usually the next day.

They wanted a special notification which is costly and not the protocol
