I'm actually ok with using that property even for a solar farm.
BUT not one penny of town tax revenue should go into this project other than a curb cut seeing that piece of property will be on the tax rolls. Especially if someone is making money off the solar panels. No BS "partnership" with the town where we are funding a part of this or not charging property taxes on the lot.
That is a pretty definitive answer. If that rule can be changed for this it can be changed for a shiny new convention center. We can't have people on that property working on solar panels because of the possible health risk. WOuldn't you agree? We could open ourselves up to a lawsuit.It’s been “cleaned” , never to be built on again and monitored for life
