Try it next time. There is nothing better than laughing (or, at the very least, smiling) when you're feeling crappy.

Laughing is good medicine, so is excercise. but the greatest antidote to funk is love. Love, love , love. Love is all you need.

Whether it's from your animals, the kids, or a mate. Living for others gets me motivated. I like to feel useful, appreciated, and loved.

    Hey Nicholas ...

Tiz the season for Seasonal Affective Disorder and the Winter Blues. It's common this time of year and prevelant here in WNY due to the lack of sunshine. SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) is a type of winter depression that affects an estimated half a million people every winter between September and April; in particular during December, January and February.

The best remedy is to drag yourself out of bed and get out of the house. Get as much natural light as possible. Open the blinds and allow light to shine through your windows and doors. Sit in front of a south facing window for short but frequent periods during the day. Outdoor light, even when the sky is overcast, is beneficial. Go for a walk. Daily exercise has been shown to be helpful, particularly when done outdoors. There has been a study showing improvement in SAD symptoms when individuals took a one-hour daily walk outside.

Be around other people. Arrange social outings to be outdoors. Make plans for a weekend getaway.Going to a brightly-lit climate, whether skiing or somewhere hot, is indeed a cure.

True enough-- I should probably jet down to the Keys for a long weekend...I think there is a blond dame I could take with me...between the two (sun and blond) that would probably give me a kick start....

Bike Week is in Daytona the first week of March.

Lots of things to cheer you up.

    Acres of sunburned skin.

    Thousands of mostly-naked women.

    Coleslaw wrestling contests.

I bet your spirits are perking up just thinking of those sensory delights!!

Go for cheap thrills to cheer yourself up:

    -Read The Enquirer
    -Listen to ABBA
    -Eat junk food
    -Go shopping
    -Watch stupidly silly movies
I'm just here to make people laugh. And to confuse people. Oh, and to irritate people.
