Cuomo’s claim he didn’t spot corruption all around him is beyond pathetic

Gov. Andrew Cuomo must be walking around blindfolded, with all the corruption he claims not to have seen.

Monday, the Albany Times Union reported that the gov’s ex-top aide, Joe Percoco, who was convicted on several counts of corruption, also used a taxpayer-funded phone line to make calls related to the gov’s 2014 re-election campaign. Which is illegal.

Percoco’s lawyer denies that, but phone records matched with his security swipe-ins at the governor’s Albany offices show Percoco was at his desk for many of the 837 calls made to fundraisers, election consultants and campaign staff. Percoco shouldn’t even have been working in a government office while running the campaign.

Of course, Cuomo says he knew nothing about any of this — just as he was blind to the bribes Percoco took and the bid-rigging by another top aide, Alain Kaloyeros, who was convicted of corruption Friday.

It's going to be interesting who the www.ecdems.com are going to back come election time. Nixon or "I see nothing" Cuomo.

Then we'll see which local board members have bad judgement come election time 2019. I don't want any member on my town board supporting either one of these candidates. Not in our best interest.

Cuomo added 374 ‘special assistants’ to state payroll

Gov. Cuomo padded the state payroll with as many as 374 “special assistants” — creating what critics call a veritable army of loyalists who keep his political machine rolling.

The gubernatorial appointees raked in a combined $33.8 million during fiscal 2016-2017, the latest year for which information is available, according to the Empire Center for Public Policy’s “SeeThroughNY” website.

Their numbers represent a nearly 70 percent increase over the 222 “special assistants’’ who were on the state payroll during fiscal 2010-2011, when Cuomo was first sworn into office — and they’re costing taxpayers more than double the $15.7 million paid out then.

    The BS never really stops.

When Pataki beat his old man the old man tried to convert all the do nothing positions created for his political friends into civil service positions so that Pataki couldn’t remove them. So Il Douche learned from an expert. They’re close with the Clintons and intermarried with the Kennedys. It doesn’t get any scummier than that.

Cuomo must really think that voters are really stupid...passing on he had no idea of the corruption all around him.and he is mostly correct about the intelligence/lack of, of the voters, state and local elected officials also... the fact that they have even shorter memories ..in private industry when there is major issue, or a drastic reduction in stock prices...the head of the CEO usually rolls.
When are the voters in NYS, one of the highest taxed states in the nation .... rid this moron from office.? Including the present elected officials who support him !

At this point someone like Nixon or Cuomo could be a candidate for governor.
