And for Rep. Tom Reed, it has made it easier to get the signs back.
Some of Reed’s signs were swiped recently in the Southern Tier, and his re-election campaign used a GPS system to get them back.
“The signs were disappearing,” said Abbey Daugherty, communications director for the Corning Republican. “Sometimes within just a few hours of us putting them up.”

WNY, it’s a commonplace that the Dems steal opponents campaign signs, literature etc. I’m aware of a Dem candidate who stationed people near polling places on Election Day to hand out his literature and tell people to vote for a candidate who wasn’t under indictment, the obvious message being that his opponent was.
