I'm waiting for the ipolitician. The feature I'm most interested in is the ability to program it remotely.
The difference between taxes and robbery is the mode of coercion.

The iphone has a complete web browser that looks easy to use. This leaves countless possibilities for application development.

I would love one, but use Verizon Wireless. I hope they can offer it on other platforms eventually.
How many of your would switch to get a new phone like that? I choose the provider over the hardware.
i put this in another thread, but i'll paste it here as well.
Good concept, bad execution.
$600 for a phone? Are you kidding me?
Yes I realize it's basically a computer, but the battery life is horrible, 5 hours. The battery cannot be replaced. Think about how the charge lasts on a cell phone that's almost 2 years old, you'll probably get 30 minutes between charges. But don't worry, apple will only charge you $120 for a new battery. One drop of the iPhone will most likely kill it. Everyone has dropped their cell at least once. No 3G support. No additional memory.
This was made for the early adopters, aka, the people that can't afford it. Next year another version will be released. Maybe around version 5 or 6 they'll have it right.
I'll wait until it's $50 with a year contract.
a few other drawbacks:
You can't download from the iTunes store.
No third party widgets
I'd like to see what the screen looks like after 2 years of usage. Hopefully they learned from the ipod nano screen fiasco.
I love the idea of it, but I'm too cheap to pay for it.
Although, now I have an iPod ($250) a Palm ($200) and a phone (usually free every 2 years).
At least if I lose or break one of them, I'm not out the entire $500.
It's like getting a combination TV/DVD - one breaks and you're screwed.
Plus, you know that phones get outdated every few years (or the battery goes and it's ridiculously expensive to replace). Do you really want to have to make this investment again in a few years??
On top of that, you're limited to one cell phone provider.

LOL
Hope this is not a phone without a sim card, otherwise I don't see how it can be used for international travel.
Are you refering to a memory expansion card? Or something to do with the rechargable side of the unit?Originally Posted by thedeacon

If I gave away a few free Apple Iphones do you think I could get a few people to blog about them?
How they are interfacing them to thier business and life?
I see this product changing the cell phone/internet industry as the Ipod has changed the music industry.
