Seems to me that many in the former Lancaster Republican leadership, enjoyed a comfortable complacency at the expense of the Lancaster resident.
However, there appears to be many grassroots Republicans in Lancaster who want to see an all-inclusive party that is truly people and community-centered, enthusiastic, and vibrant, so that the Lancaster voter has two clear philosophical and task-oriented choices, standing on a functionally competitive footing.
Short answer "Breezy," perhaps the "old timers," are now joining the "new blood" in their bold restlessness, because they are simply tired of loosing elections and preserving the status quo that enriches the few select at the expense of the many.
