    When to start yard work?

I have a few bushes to pull.... grass to plant, and flowers to plant... when should I start? Today I picked up a new tow strap.... 18,000lb 20ft long.... should do the trick...

But when should I start with the yard work?

Also when is a good time to trim bushes/trees?

The nest time is as soon as you can and NOT procrastinate.

I'd say anytime is ok, providing you're not freezing your ass off. As far as planting you may have to wait until after the last frost, so I wouldn't do that now.

I counted it as yard work. Amazing how much was out there once the snow melted.... I put it all in a crappy (no pun intended) garbage can and told the sanitation guy to take the whole thing.

It's way too early to start planting new flowers.
We still got a few snowfalls and frosts ahead of us.
