So we have the first convictions of members of the Cuomo crime family. Percoco guilty on 3 felony counts.

Well, this is just the first go around. The jury hung on some charges against some of the defendants so they can be retried on those charges. Percoco wasn’t the only one found guilty. One of the contractors was found guilty, too. And don’t forget, this case was nothing compared to pillage of the taxpayers that was Riverbend/Solar City and that trial is still upcoming.

Churchill: Andrew Cuomo broke his biggest promise

When Andrew Cuomo first announced he was running for governor, he chose a site with symbolic significance: the Tweed Courthouse, the ornate monument to public corruption in Manhattan.

"Albany's antics today could make Boss Tweed blush," Cuomo said that day in 2010 as he promised to remake state government by scrubbing away its enduring ethical stains.

He hammered the same theme — and repeated the promise — 10 months later at his inauguration.

"We have lost the trust," he told the Capitol crowd. "And we're not going to get it back until we clean up Albany and there's real transparency and real accountability and real ethics and real ethics reform."

The self serving politicians have only one dedication, to their affiliated party of self survival..yet those voters seem to cast their vote for the same politicos time and time again...shooting themselves in the foot..so to speak. People are so stupid!
