It also pays to look at the personal predelictions of those supporting this meaningless, idiotic and almost certainly unconstitutional foolishness.

The subject is about passing laws. I brought up a law that I think should be on record so that the issue never starts up. Wouldn't you agree? AND I'm not saying the law passed is bad. My point is there are far more pressing issues to focus on.

You see many things Breezy. I’ve always been amused by people who see things.

I googled conversion therapy and gay conversion therapy erie county. I see articles about banning it but no doctor/doctors groups that offer the service. Was this being practiced in Erie County before this law was passed banning it?
No it was not practiced. Just one more attempt to shut down free speech.

It is a bad law as it is written. Have you read it? Looks like a 10 year old wrote it.

Well, it was proposed by a Democrat so it was certainly proposed by someone with all the sophistication of a 10year old.

Yes. All of those are a form of battery. If anyone was to stone you, cane you, or toss you from a roof, they'd be guilty of a crime. Likewise, if you were gay and someone wanted to physically or psychologically force you not to be gay, they would also be guilty of a crime.

Then I guess we can do away with this idiotic local law because such activity is already criminal.

No, until this law was passed, it was not a crime to physically and psychologically torture a child to try and pray away the gay, since the parents gave consent.

"physically and psychologically torture" ... is that what is being done? Where, how, by whom?

I'm definitely not OK with banning plastic bags. Just more boondoggle.
