Leftie, thousands of UB students already have access to all of Eggertsville & WNY. All they have to do is hop on the bus. If they won’t do that what makes you think they’ll get on a train to do it? Just because it’s a train, really? I’ve been to the fair and ridden some of the rides but once done I won’t do it again. It’s a failed system in a shrinking area and that’s all it will ever be. The people running NFTA are the Magnificent Ambersons of mass transit. They see a world that no longer exists and believe that if they continue on as if it still exists that it will make it so. It won’t. It’s as simple as that. Why not invest a couple hundred million in electric buses that are more efficient and more flexible and serve areas as the need evolved? Too much like common sense I suppose.
