If this idiot substitutes a payroll tax for the state income tax the practical effect will be to reduce the wages and social security benefits of New Yorkers and, all things being equal, reduce child support payments payable under NY’s uniform child support guidelines. But it’s better to reduce the lifestyle of New Yorkers to maintain the flow of cash to campaign contributors than it is to reduce our taxes.

It'll also reduce people's 401k contributions, hurting them again in retirement as well as the current lower wages.
It'll also cause additional paperwork for businesses, making NY even less business friendly
