NYS and 4 other States Get Overtaxed the Most

    Go figure good old NYS.
It's not surprising to see states like New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York on this list. Residents in these states have some of the highest per-capita incomes in the nation. Because of the progressive nature in which the federal government imposes income taxes, higher income typically means higher tax rates that, in turn, drive greater tax payments.

That's why Insolvent is coming to your Erie County town, city, village soon !! Also several Erie County school districts are fiancially stressed and several more school districts are nearing it. They want to raise the cap on high they can raise school taxes LOL (It was in the Buffalo News a couple of days ago) Soon panic is going to set in and everyone is going try to sell their houses to escape lossing their A$$ as yearly propery taxes keep going up at higher & higher percentages every year to make up for the shrinking tax base and the sky rocketing costs of providing the basic services. It's already happening in Depew, Evans, West Seneca & Cheektowaga which used all it's reserves up to make the tax height lower this year , next year double digit increase coming.

I think insolvency is a ways off. They will just nickle and dime the remaining property owners. That's basically what the Cheektowaga Democratic Party is doing to the town.

It's not nickels & dimes, it's thousands & thousands. Only in Erie County are the Politicians owned by the public sector unions & special interests and the only interest is the unions wants and the Politicians are afraid of them. Just about everywhere else the Politicians are owned by the taxpayers and are afraid to raise taxes because they will be fired by their boss's, the taxpayers and they also care about the community, economy & the future were they live, Why do you think just about the rest of the whole country is growing & booming ? It's called good & well run governments, but then again you have to have educated people making sure they elect the right people, not brain dead idiots. aka brain washed cult following of Buffalo Love, Buffalo Rising, One Buffalo who keep voting the same malignancy into office who keep failing the people they were suppose to serve or don't vote at all. ,

Actually most of the tax funded Union Employees are led by Democrats. The Unions hierarchy consists of mostly Dem Committee Players and those who hold higher Party level positions. The over whelming majority of the PAC Funds associated with those Unions go to support Democrats as well.

In NYS its not any one County - its the number of tax funded Union Employees. The Politicians are just mainly Dem talking heads that know they would be ripped out of office if they don't heed the Unions needs. Dems are for the Unionized working man - as long as he votes Dem and donates to the PAC Fund monthly.
