And didn't Massa say the two were buck naked and some chest poking was involved?

It seems to me he may have a lot of skeletons in the closet and he's volunteering all sorts of vague "explanations" on things that would seem entirely unrelated to his sexual harassment accusation so as to get in front of, and provide a plausible explanation for whatever scandal might emerge next...

Being a former military you'd think he'd know better. If they don't ask, don't tell.....

It was some kind of garbled stuff like that. The "story" just didn't make a whole lot of sense. It's like he's mad because he was accused of doing a staffer, so he's going to smear anybody and everybody he can and make up all kinds of excuses.

I totally agree he should know better. Sheesh, in this day and age, I would think that anybody with even half a brain would know that having an affair with somebody who works for you, especially if you are in public office, is like jumping on a runaway train.

I bet if Massa had just resigned with the cancer explanation and left with dignity, that 95% of the people in his district wouldn't have believed any other charges against him anyway. Now that he's done the talk show circuit, though, most of his constituents probably think he's nothing but another lying, crooked pol.

So, you think every butt slap on a football/baseball field is a sexual act

Or, have you ever heard of "bag-tag"? Ask a few in either cable stringing, or mechanic fields. Bag-tag is a game with a long, and (dis)honorable tradition.

It's hard falling your point at times. I get the feeling you just like talking for the hell of it. Regardless of what you're saying.

Are you saying that you find nothing weird about a Congress Man groping his male staff (be it sexual, or non--sexual.)

Have you ever groped another mad? "Groped" is the key word here

Here's a possibility - there's a homo in the woodpile....and it aint Massa. Maybe the accuser who is claiming sexual harrasment is themself of the lighter loafer

Talking Let's be small and make him a joke.

If you knew the man as I do you would know we have lost a valuable asset in the government. Both parties hate servicemen in the ranks and found a way to manage his exit which is unfortunate for America. What happened just goes to show how the beast feeds it's own and spits out that which won't digest. I wish Mr. Massa all the best in the future and know he tried to do his best. The rest of you can make jokes and roll your eyes as you can't and won't ever understand. Have a nice day fools !!!
