    They pay a village tax, they voted to keep it the way it is, really not 100% the towns fault.

    Sad really, I remember this thriving sweet little area, but its redundancy with Cheektowaga wasn't a good idea. Back in the day, Sloan wanted to be separate from Cheek. Having their own schools and duplication of services only drove the taxes up and the residents fled. They should absolve this little Hamlet and let Cheek. take the debt. Maybe it will even out the area and taxes may drop some.
