Oh Boy a voice recording, Everywhere else in the country, each town has video of all the meetings on their web site & air it on their town cable tv channel & town internet channel, Lancaster like all of Erie County is still stuck in 1974 , The only thing the corrupt government cares about and that matters is getting yearly raises, yearly longevity bonus's, retirement bonus's, pensions spiking & making jobs for their friends & family. Nearly 50 years of doing this has turned Erie County into wasteland and the worst days are yet to come with the speeding up shrinking tax base and the skyrocketing costs of the government workers salaries, benefits, bonus's & pensions that keep going up every year. Erie County has not much more to lose except the Bills, home values, & the government workers salaries, benefits & pensions, but the blind sheep get what they deserve,

Considering it was but a few years ago that I had to go to the library to read the agenda, the pre-filed resolutions and communications, I am quite satisfied that all that information is now on the website along with recordings of the Town, Planning, MRC, and Zoning Board of Appeals meeting minutes –along with a host of archives with past information.

Attendees addressing the Board(s) have to introduce themselves and resolution sponsors are identified as well. The only other session I believe worth recording is the Town Board work session. At this session and others where board members are speaking it would be advantageous to the listener to hear them give their names.

Don’t need to see faces to enhance the openness and transparency of listening to the recording of the meetings that can be played and listened to on one’s computer at a moment’s notice, at one’s leisure, and with the ability to stop and return as needed.

Thank you Mrs. Terranova for having posted the recording the next day, a special thanks to Gorga for having started the recording trend before the town got its ducks in a row and to Councilman Ruffino for sponsoring a resolution to make it happen.
