    Sanitation

Why don't our sanitation workers consistently have to wear any type of reflective clothing when they are working in the dark? Almost hit one this morning as they were going back and forth across the street?

Theyre in too much of a hurry to bother with that! That's one thing I hated about Cheektowaga was the garbage service.

What is there to hate. We put the can out in the morning and when we get home it's empty. Honestly never had an issue in that sense. What are you not happy with?

No longer a Cheektowaga resident, but when I was, the racket they made flying down the street at 7am, backing up (back up alarm), gunning it forward, throwing cans (pre-tote days) and leaving stuff they didn't feel like lifting. In Lancaster they're quiet, set your can down when they're done and will take almost anything you put out.

They're not happy because Frank Max and his crowd got clobbered at the polls and now are going to engage in pointless sniping for the next two years. I guess "cheektowaga" didn't get their candy apple, participation trophy and consolation hug yet.

    Cheektavegas,

So you know where I'm coming from. The "crowd" in my opinion is the group that has controlled the town for years. Don't lay blame on a small faction of the group.

    Definition of faction
1 :a party or group (as within a government) that is often contentious or self-seeking :clique

The committee soon split into factions.

2 arty spirit especially when marked by dissension

faction, or the irreconcilable conflict of parties —Ernest Barker
