Same holds true for Mark Blazejewski, who clearly is ALSO conflicted out this time around since he also opened his wallet to fund Mr. Brainard, as well. I would assume that Mr. Blazejewski is supporting Adam Dickman this year, too.

So any words uttered by Mark Blazejewski in this election is questionable.
Your writing skills suck. But, I digress. Your Answer:

BTW, the above-illustrated comment by "Breezy," appears to be a rather self-serving partisan labeling of a perceived threat.

In his own words, this is "Breezy's" self description:

Everyone words should be questioned in general. Words uttered by just a "screen name" should be questioned more often.

What "words" Res? I have NOT commented on the 2017 campaign.

To date, I have not endorsed any candidate.

Res, "Breezy" is the one pronouncing unsought admonishments in anticipation of his stated assumption.

Same holds true for Mark Blazejewski, who clearly is ALSO conflicted out this time around since he also opened his wallet to fund Mr. Brainard, as well. I would ASSUME that Mr. Blazejewski is supporting Adam Dickman this year, too. Mr. Blazejewski also spoke up constantly and consistently supporting the former supervisor, even after all sorts of bad news was exposed about Mr. Fudoli, including television news reports of Dino snubbing his nose at people who actually pay their real property taxes, but Dino thought he didn't have to pay his. Same for Dickman supporting Dino, too
    .

To be fair, "Breezy" should make that comment about each and every Republican, Conservative, Independent, and stray Democrat supporting the 2015 Republican ticket. Those supporters number in the thousands.

This failed governing/leadership style under the Democratic controlling parties have NOT helped our economic system as well and most importantly, the socio-economic system, in the cities and throughout the country{for the better}. It is with alternative choice(s) that voters can go out and vote a different party line-this year in Lancaster try for the Republican slate. Their message is different than the Dems, they bring a fiscally conservative approach at a time where homeowners need it most. Leary will address the opioid crisis and work hand and hand with our first responders. His respect for the first responders is exemplary in both methodology and professionalism. Cervi is and will continue to serve the public as a public servant to make sure justice is center focused. Dickman has served on the ZBA in the past and will bring a new prospective to the table, example by fulfilling those positions on those board(s) in a timely fashion with qualified individuals.

To continue down this path, voting in members who test the Tax cap every year, to members who throw money away to conduct assessments just to see what the value worth of a government owned property is knowing that it would cost taxpayers over a hundred thousand dollars to retrofit the suggested needs of the town, to members who use their personal relationships to vote for personal gain or for their business purposes where "conflicts of interest" is no longer relevant to proper governing ------- well I think voting differently this year is a good idea....what about you?

This opioid problem is urgent. I would be interested in reading what Mr. Leary's idea are.

Dickman served on the ZBA with an 80% attendance record
    That's 4 out of 5.
How many employers would keep an employee that only showed up for work 4 out of 5 days per week?
In my view, his ZBA experience is a detriment to his campaign.

To be fair and honest, this should be 84%
    That's 4.2 out of 5

In reading the mailers of the candidates challenging the incumbents I am chagrined that their agenda includes fiscal responsibility and watching public tax dollars, yet they or their supporters failed to challenge or comment Monday evening on the public hearing of the tentative budget.

A budget that increased spending by over $600,000 from last year’s budget, increases the amount to be raised by taxes by 4.74% and the tax rate by 2.51% (first increase in six years) and includes the hiring of an employee in Police, Highway, Parks, Code Enforcement and reclassifies a position in the DCO.

When questioned (by the only individual who spoke at the public hearing) on the reasons for the hiring Supervisor Coleman justified the hirings by simply saying that the town was growing. Christmas came early for town department heads and respective employees at an election year. It is unfortunate that the final budget approval takes place after Election Day; and does not reflect on an incumbent’s candidate’s fiscal guiding principle(s). Council member Ruffino seems to have gone rogue in the past few years and following a more conservative fiscal direction and was the only one who voted against a resolution to consider overriding the tax cap. Council member Abraham is tied to the hip of Supervisor Coleman.

The tentative budget proposal is but a wish list to get public opinion. What will be telling is what the final budget will look like in late November. We shall see if all town board members feel the budget proposal is acceptable as presented because it meets the ‘inflated’ tax cap limit; challenge budget line items and/or hirings and look to reduce the tax levy/tax rate for fiscal responsible purpose; add to the budget and still fall under the tax cap levy limit by appropriating more reserves (from a very healthy unreserved fund balance).

Yes, as you noted in the tentative budget thread- https://www.speakupwny.com/forums/sh...=1#post1752385 (post #12) the unreserved fund balance is at 21% of annual appropriations and as the supervisor intimated the state comptroller prefers 16.67% or more in the unreserved fund balance.

    21% in tentative budget = $7,157,506
    Comptroller approved 16.67% = $5,566, 490

So there is wiggle room to help reduce the tax levy in that regard
