Elections are on the way...Our choices...

Here are the three from the Cheektowaga Democratic Party that has given us property owners some of the highest property taxes in the nation. Including having control of our town while countless familes have moved away.

    Electric or Dan?

Is my state true or false?

    Their facebook page

    https://www.facebook.com/CheektowagaDemocraticCommittee

    From the Republican group...

Our Cheektowaga Town Board Candidates (from left to right):

    Patrick J. Delaney
    Doreen Friedrich
    Roger Heymanowski

I am going to email the republican group to see what they have way of promotional material

    Nowak is new.

The other 2 are Pro Union, Anti taxpayer, Specialist in slowly driving people out of town with the highest taxes in the county.

I can tell you that The party headquarters for these 3 is provided courtesy of Benderson.

So Benderson will continue getting what they want from the town DEMS.

I totally respect Benderson as a company. Worked with them in the past. This doesn't mean we allow any developer to do anything they want in town if it effects the quality of life for the residents. We can clearly see what the Cheektowaga Democratic Party has done to our town. You all know what I'm talking about. The traffic along residential side streets is horrible in some areas. Board members don't care. They don't live on that street they are not effected.

It's time to start calling out the BS they spew out. Go review past election mailers.

Listen to what they say but watch what they really do.

I think it is a conflict of interest for any board member that was given free or discounted rent in a Benderson building to vote on anything that comes before the board involving a Benderson property.

I agree. Can anyone confirm that the Cheektowaga Democratic Party is getting free space from Benderson?

No support to change, SAD !! and it's Hopeless !!!! But what do you expect when Depew voted 4 to 1 to raise property taxes 25% to 40% over the next 2 years and that's just a stop gap to make it to 2019 so the village empoyees get paid and that doesn't even pay for the millions of debt Depew has. Taxes & spending will continue to raise every year (also everytime town workers gets their annual raises, it's also increase their pensions) untill each Town & Village go's insolvent, but before that happens, the corrupt politicians & unions are going to put the cherry on the whipcream and destroy the housemarketing and people are going to lose the shirts off their backs, But like so many of us who already left and I'm hearing lots & lots are planning on leaving asap, because they can see whats coming and they are all saying, "The blind sheep get what they deserve"

This is why we need a state convention. People should be paid fairly but now I believe we are far past that point in many cases.

Of course the current town board members running for office will be endorsed by our employees. The friends and family plan is powerful with Tim and Jim.

    Electric or Dan,

Is my statement true or false when it comes to Jim and Tim.

Does Diane our Supervisor know about this.

If I was Supervisor and this was brought to my attention I would question this conflict of interest. It would be questioned openly at a board meeting. Benderson has decisions made by our Town Board. Decisions that directly affect us property owners quality of life in town.

Let me clarify...they either get reduced or free rent as per Brian Nowak who was supposed to get back to me with an exact answer on this before the primaries, then the post in the group mysteriously disappeared and my other post asking again failed to get him to answer.

I also hear Nowak refuses to pledge his allegiance to the flag, so who is his allegiance to if not the US?

So we as voters appear to have some poor choices in this years election yet again, same old crap or?

I say or? because I haven't heard anything about the other non Dem candidates so we no little to nothing about them.

Sad choice of candidates when you have no real information to review.

What group was the question posted on? Brian's own facebook page or the Cheektowaga Democratic Committee Page?

Reduced or free is still a conflict of interest. Even if they pay full rent but then have Benderson kick it back to them as a "donation" it is still a conflict of interest.

Neither of those it was "OUR Cheektowaga" facebook group.

I agree full or discounted is a conflict and those on the board that accept it should recuse themselves from voting on anything to do with Benderson.

So are the three running against the group who has given us the highest taxes area in the nation, caused 1000's to flee our town and fed us property owners BS for the last 25+ years going do anything before the elections?

    Pat? Doreen? Roger?

If you guys are just going to sit back and watch what happens without giving it an honest attempt why are you wasting the property owners time?

Dan? Electric? What do you think the three are going to?

    I hate shopping on the internet but I found a place that will do 18 X 24" X 1000 signs for $2010.00

I sent a message to Brian asking if they are receiving free or discounted space before elections. Let us see if he responds.
