VOTE tomorrow in the West Seneca Democratic Primary!

Tomorrow is essentially the general election in West Seneca.

You can either vote for change by casting your vote for Dave Monolopolus, or you can vote for the status quo by casting your vote for Bill Hanley.

While Dave Monolopolus did lose the Democratic primary he will still be on the ballot for the General Election on November 7.

West Seneca still has a choice!

Why should people in West Seneca vote for Dave?

You either vote for change or vote for the status quo.

Mr. Hanley's statement to the Buffalo News that "He also said he has never voted for a tax increase in his nearly four years on the board" may technically be true. He omits that he did vote to raise the Town Supervisor's salary and that he voted in 2014 & 2015 to override the 2% Tax Levy Limit for the following years. Where is the spending control and no votes where it matters? These are shallow and safe no votes.

I cannot believe that Hanley did not know about the upcoming tax increase and said nothing during his campaign or since? I think it a little suspicious that the tax levy override was introduced the day after the Democratic Primary that Hanley won and everyone thought he was in an uncontested election a little suspicious? Or the position of Finance Director?

So how is Hanley a good representative, let alone a conservative one, when he casts only safe votes and does not speak out against these insane tax and spend policies while at the same time he either supported Hart and Meegan in the last election, or took no position?

Here is the problem when a current board members makes that type of comment. The group as a whole knows they don't need 7 votes or what ever votes to push a pay raise through. They just need enough votes to get it through. Like in our case in Cheektowaga with Tim Meyers. I pretty sure I have a mailer from him that stated "Will never vote for a pay increase". He doesn't have to. The group as a whole just has to have enough votes with his "no" vote. YOu might vote no but go along with the rest of the group that pushes it through.
