Lightbulb Sen. Malcolm A. Smith Top Dem in Albany!

The New Top Democratic State Senator Malcolm Smith wants more funding - for his pay check and benefits.

In a bold move , Smith wants to raise the Senators pay.

Between him and Spitzer we can already see as they promised,
    "Spending reform."
#Dems play musical chairs + patronage and nepotism = entitlement !

They are in our pockets again

Here we go, a pay raise for the state legislators. Are they going to sneak one in before this current term expires so they can get their raises starting next year?

Funny the idea of a pay raise was not brought up during the past elections. The reason stated for a pay raise is the raises that the New York City Council got that makes the New York City Councils pay higher that the New York Legislators pay. This is a typical government and civil servants ploy on all levels called "look at what they got" to justify a raise.

If our State Legislators want a higher salary let them quit their job and run for office in New York City or better yet find a job in the private sector. Wal Mart should be hiring.
