Body camera video allegedly shows Baltimore cop planting evidence

Now I can see why security service providers don't want bodycams.

Body camera video allegedly shows Baltimore cop planting evidence

(CNN)New video casts a glaring light on Baltimore police practices as the department and city grapple with a distrustful public and record-setting violent crime. The video reportedly shows what happened during what might otherwise have been a typical drug bust on January 24. Released by the Office of the Public Defender, the video purports to show a Baltimore police officer planting evidence at the scene of a drug arrest.
The Baltimore Police Department has launched an investigation and held a news conference releasing other videos while offering a timeline of events.

I watched part of the press conference this morning. The charges against the person wound up being related to Heroin on his person, but since this would have been the probably cause that led to that discovery, its a pretty damning video.

how many times have these officers done this to an innocent person? This is why we need these cameras IMO.

This reflects badly against all police departments. You can see why people start to lose trust.
