NRG Energy Inc. has submitted a plan to build a clean coal-fired plant along side its Huntley facility in the Town of Tonawanda.
The bid, announced Tuesday, comes in response to the New York Power Authority's request for proposal. It calls for an innovative, 680 net megawatts integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) plant.

People who wonder if the glass is half empty or full miss the point. The glass is refillable.
WHy can't they upgrade the generators in the current dam with something more powerful? Or build another clean electric producing dam? I heard something about canada drilling another tunnel to funnel water for a generator.
Why not use the water versus coal?
