The only one I've seen around town trying to earn votes is Hanley (D). Went door to door. I literally haven't seen anything from anyone else.
He said exactly what they all say, but at least he put foot to pavement.

I have not seen him, but I am not surprised because he needs to win the D primary in order to make it to the general election so he may be concentrating on the D's at this point.

Right now the only sure ones to make it to the general election are Rusinski on the Independence line; Waite on the Conservative line and Manley on the Republican line..

John Rusinski is also going from house to house. He visited my sisters house last week.

Is he doing the whole "we need to keep taxes down/I have a family/I'm my own person" typical nonsense heheh all do?

Boy did you nail it on the head. Quite a few people running use the same tag lines but all do differently once elected. :)

Rusinski must go. Its time to get rid the first part of the 3 stooges. Rusinski is part of the back door deals going on in this Town. If Rusinski comes to your house ask him why he voted to re zone and put a commercial construction in the back yard of a residential neighborhood. Just one of many.

While I am not pleased with the re-zoning that occured at 2735 Clinton, in all fairness you can not blame it all on Rusinski. It was recommended by the WS Planning Board in a 4-3 vote. This is the very site that People, Inc. wanted to build a complex at that was also opposed and was previously a retail nursery that had traffic during summer months.

The problem is with the appointed planning board that seemingly wants to rubberstamp everything and then by making similar recommendations backing the town board into a position that if they do not approve it they will be sued and if they do approve it they get sued. If I was on the Town Board I would seek to abolish the planning board at least then there would be one voice on these matters that is accountable to the voters.

With only 18% of the districts reporting the unofficial count is currently:

So this is where we stand as reported in the unoffical results of the BOE. Only 285 votes separate the canidates with all but 1 district reporting. It will be interesting to see how, or if, the results of the last district will change this (and of course the counting of manual votes and potential challenges).
