Takac music festival moving to Hamburg

The frosty relationship between the "Music is Art" festival and the Allentown Arts Festival has prompted the local music showcase to move from Buffalo to being a centerpiece of the 2007 America's Fair in Hamburg.

Music is Art, a five-year-old festival founded by Goo Goo Dolls bassist Robby Takac, is departing Buffalo and the Allentown weekend in July for Saturday, Aug. 11 at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg. The festival, designed to showcase local acts, will now anchor the fair's annual live music lineup.
