Town Board committed to bringing more athletic fields to Lancaster
Citing that soccer has become a hot item in Lancaster, where 3,000 enthusiasts attended a recent soccer event at Lancaster High School, Supervisor Robert Giza was pleased to announce a plan to build a future park complex that would initially hold seven soccer fields and two football fields.

Sir,
You seem to have a knack for over simplification. There is always a cost to tax payers.
I am not against Soccer Players -
I dont like Politicians who help create the demand for tax funded services to garner votes.
First - every penny spent by Government - is tax money - yes, even the "Grants" they brag about are tax dollars.
They also pay a private Grant writer (tax dollars) to get those grants(Tax dollars).
Every grass cutting, line painting Town Employee cost tax dollars.
In Lancaster one single employee - even if started at "Part time", can grow into a life time of tax funded salary, tax funded pension and tax funded benefits.
Better known as "Patronage Jobs" - Lancaster's Town Budget is full of "Loyal Committee" family members collecting their share of the "BIG POT."
Supervisor Giza said, "Theres a Big pot of money out there - we better grab it before someone else does."
Taxpayers translation: = The big pot is filled with tax dollars - lets grab as much as we can before another local Government does.
Politicians love to speak in metaphors like little kids do - its like when a kid says Dukey instead of Crap. He knows what he's saying - he still swears and gets away with it because he said "Grant" instead of "Tax"
