If this country elects Obama and we have in play a super majority democrat government. Kiss the US constitution and capitalism goodbye for a long time.
Rosevelt was wrong then and it is wrong now. Trillions later on the new deal and we are told all the time we need to give more. The only way to achieve this utopia is for everyone to be equally poor.
President Roosevelt's proposed second Bill of Rights included:
• 'The right to a useful, remunerative job in industries, shops, farms, or mines.'
• 'The right to earn enough to provide adequate food, clothing, and recreation.'
• 'The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return that will provide a decent living.'
• 'The right of every businessman to trade with freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies.'
• 'The right of every family to a decent home.'
• 'The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health.'
• 'The right to protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment.'
• 'The right to a good education.'

Yeah, we're screwed, but we're screwed already...the previous eight years of republican administration have already exacted a severe toll on the Constitution...

So would your suggestion be to trash it all together by installing Obama and a Dem. super majority?
