If anyone really cared about saving money they would storm the school board meeting and ask the board to consolidate but people must be happy with the current situation.
I vote no when it's time to vote on the budget each year.. Notice they have a "parents kids art show" vote night? Anything to get as many yes votes as they can
They have this whole budget vote thing down to a science. Cheektowaga must consolidate into one school district. This would save the taxpayers tens of millions of dollars. We can just dream of the school tax rate going down some 5 to 10 percent because of consolidation. Unfortunately, this will have to be forced on the districts as they will never do this on their own. :mad:
