Everyone hates high taxes, yet votes for MORE taxes!

Im in a particular industry that allows people to get comfortable with me.

EVERYONE thinks taxes are too high...

Yet when there is a vote, to INCREASE taxes which are too high already, what do the people do?

Vote for higher taxes!

I find the way taxes are handled to be criminal.

Most people pay their taxes thruogh their mortgage, or an escrow, and never receive an actual bill.

Yet if a $100,000 house has a 3700 tax bill ever year, that works out to around $340 a month, in pure tax that must be paid to the 'Govt'

But then the liar in Govt, known as politicians, state 'its ONLY 3.5% increase'

But wait, Did you get a 3.5% increase in pay this past year? Or, like most Americans, your pay hasnt moved, yet your expenses continue to increase...

I am so sick and tired of the hypocrisy in this area that it makes me sick.

Bitch and moan about high taxes, then vote for higher taxes... like WTF is wrong with people?

Perhaps the majority of voters (that is how it works you know) want to fund government at the level required with the proposed tax increase.

Maybe we should reverse the rules so that the least amount of votes wins. Then Carl would be governor and Ted would be the supervisor of Cheektowaga, and all of the tea party congresspersons would be out of congress.

The vast majority of WNY'ers have never lived anywhere else,, if you showed them places in the US where they had police, fire, social services, and educated their young people to be engineers, doctors, etc.etc. for low property and income taxes they would get it. Most of them just piss and moan because they know they have high taxes but have nothing experiencial to compare it to.

The next person that bitches about it, is getting an earful...

However given the way **** is going... bring it, and more of it, the sooner the better!

How about letting voters have the right to vote for spending controls for our Government ?

The only time I can have a direct say in my taxes are when I vote for the school budget.
Why most school budgets pass in my opinion are, Voters that vote for a tax increase are:
1)Voters who are public union employees.
2)Parents that need someone to watch their kids while they work.

Voters who vote No are:
1) people that no longer have children in the school system.
2) People on a fixed income.

LA right that's why the No voters lose all the time... just like politicians they raise your taxes year after year and people vote them back in.. could never figure that out I guess they like it.
