I am deeply disturbed by the recent actions of Locust Street Art

BUFFALO, NY — “I am deeply disturbed by the recent actions of Locust Street Art, which denied young Jewish students the chance to participate in a taxpayer-funded art program simply because of their faith. What Locust Street Art called ‘a lapse in judgment’ was really a blatant act of antisemitism.

Erie County’s Jewish community is a vital part of our region. We cannot allow our tax dollars to support an organization that spreads hate against Jews. The Erie County Democrats have funneled tens of thousands of dollars to Locust Street Art. It is disgusting that taxpayer money is funding such bigotry, and I urge Legislature Democrats to rescind their support for this organization.

With antisemitism on the rise, we must make it abundantly clear that these disgusting acts of hate have no place here in Erie County. The Erie County Republican Committee proudly stands with our local Jewish community and firmly supports the State of Israel.”
