Primary Challenge 2007
The Importance of your Primary Election Vote

To quote Don Esmonde "The so called revolution is over".........or is it? Believe it or not, Primary Challenge is still around, alive and well. Yes, Cynthia Locklear was sadly defeated in the primary, but this is exactly why the message of Primary Challenge is so important: namely to educate people as to the necessity of their vote in the Primary, and to endorse candidates like Cindy Locklear and Satish Mohan who are independent thinkers who vote their conscience and NOT along dictated party lines.
We still have hope for Chris Collins (county executive); Jim Liegl,Rus Thompson and Sue cushman for the Erie County legislature);and Debbie Lerner (Marilla town board)
But we desperately need your help and ideas. A few of us are working very hard, and are trying not to get discouraged. 1. We need to get the word out about Primary Challenge and the political process, so please forward this to others on your email list and if they give me their name and email address, I will keep them informed and updated. 2. We need money to do this. I know everyone is strapped, and I very much thank all of you who were able to donate to this cause before. However, we need your ideas now, as well. What type of fundraisers could we have? Could you suggest a wealthy benefactor who might be interested in our cause? How can we spread the Primary Challenge purpose and name ? Please brainstorm. Your ideas won't cost time or money. Please email them to me even if you don't think they will work. They might trigger another idea. Also, we need board members...especially in the following areas - Buffalo, E. Aurora, Clarence, W. Seneca, Orchard Park, Grand Island, Akron, Alden, N. Collins, Eden, Springville, Niagara County, Boston, Colden, Lackawanna, Hamburg. All you have to do is show up for a meeting once a month w/ your input and ideas. It is up to you if you can do more.
If I missed any towns, we need you there, also, because we'd love to have at least 2 reps for each town. Meetings are held at our office in Alden @Lenny's house. It's a little far, but I live on the way, and we could car pool. Please consider it. Remember! If you want things to change, please become part of the solution and not the problem. Thank yo uso much.
