On Tuesday, October 2, the Town of Lancaster and Supervisor Robert H. Giza will host a Water Quality Stormwater Forum at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room at 21 Central Avenue.

According to the press release issued by Supervisor Giza:

Robert H. Giza
The public is invited to attend. This forum will feature the villages of Depew and Lancaster as well as the Town of Elma, which share a common watershed.

This unique information-packed presentation will introduce the audience to our local watershed and discuss water quality in the local area creeks.

Stormwater discharge issues, sanitary sewer overflows and opportunities for citizens to get involved in water quality protection activities will also be addressed.

Representatives of state, county, towns and villages, as well as citizen groups will be on hand to discuss these issues with the public.

Residents will have an opportunity to learn more about their community and to discuss water quality concerns with speakers and elected officials.

If you swim, fish, wade or simply enjoy the remarkable waterways in our area, please attend.

Remember, anyone can attend, but this forum will only deal with our local watershed that we share with both with the villages and the Town of Elma. There are other forums that will be held in the other watersheds in Erie County.
