That was very successful last year even with the insanely cold temps.

[QUOTE=Ileftchktg;1581451]Good they should of funded the whole project!
How much more tax money do you want to pour into the waterfront? Just recently they scaled back the outer harbor projects due to tax money.
You have to look at this area as seasonal wind snow, cold, and poor road conditions in the city when it sno

Agreed way to much tax money going into the whole project. Yes it is very seasonal area.

By seasonal, you mean it's used in Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, right?

Wake up Lady hand outs have not helped this area the past fifteen years. Houston has become the new home for transplants that have left this area. Go down there on business four times a year its booming area for X WNY why they left taxes, jobs, and politicians that have ruined this area with all the free handouts. NC, SC, Fl, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, are all places transplants now live. Savannah GA, is second to Houston for new areas people are moving to from this NYS and WNY.
As for education you have most dysfunctional school system right here in Buffalo at what cost to taxpayers? Health care free handouts you are paying for. I think people around here are fed up with taxes and wasteful spending but people like you think its great. Go take a ride on the merry-go-round.

You make a valid point about hand outs, however, the anger can be better redirected. It's not a bad thing to help place a merry-go-round for little kids at the hottest destination in Buffalo.

    Linda,

Do you know the difference between infrastructure and an amusement ride? I think it's cool to get the vintage ride that was made in our area restored versus that money going to some other area in the state. Why are you comparing the two?
