    That’s it; very good, gorja.

Now take a look at the juggling game played by the DEMS to retain two full time positions. Anticipated revenues were increased and the reconfiguring of the Parks & Recreation Department and the elimination of Crew Chief Terry McCracken’s position made their efforts possible.

The reconfiguration of the Parks & Rec department didn’t happen as promised before the first of the year – and it is still arguable whose idea that was anyway. It wasn’t ready for prime time but the DEMS rolled it out to get the appropriation decrease needed to balance out the General Fund Adjustment sheet.

The DEMS robbed Peter to pay Paul (Paul being the da boys).

You know, factually the Lan Dem Controllers lead by the Giza/Stempniak crowd have approved the bulldozing of Lancaster's green space. They have approved more green space destruction then any other elected officials in Lancaster's history.

They have created, approved and installed more tax funded Patronage/Nepotism then any other group in Lancaster's history - fact.

Lancaster has come a long way - a long way from a peaceful green - mostly farming Town - to another bedroom community just like like Amherst.

I personally don't see Lancaster as a glass half empty - its become mostly full - I see it reaching the stated goal of past Administrations -

The mantra of the Land Dem Controllers - was stated by past Supervisor Bob Giza, "I want to build out Lancaster like Depew" - this sentiment been echoed thousands of times by the Lan Dem Elected Controllers.

This is no Breezy/Lan Dem personal attack - its a factual over view of their actual "Achievements" as Breezy and his people call them.

When residents asked for larger green lots - the Board approved smaller bulldozed lots.

When residents asked for improved roads, sewers and water infra structure - we received excuse - its the County - its not our responsibility - they approved it we cant stop it. Yet they actually approved it and kept adding more.

When residents asked for "Preserved Green Space" - we received left over unbuildable, unusable wetlands and other developer donated drainage retention areas, they called ponds.

    That's fact - not personal attacks !
    Spot on!

Would like to add the following facts:

    • We are already an Amherst in so many ways – and no thanks to the Republicans but to the DEMS have controlled the town board for all but four years in the last 55.

    • Loss of greenspace; how about the loss of valuable and functional wetlands and the resulting drainage issues facing the town; the loss of neighborhood parks that were so popular (is the town any less liable with town park usage).

    • As to nepotism and party patronage; Town, Planning and Zoning Boards are and have heavily laden with DEM Party players. Patronage is one thing, filling positions with unqualified individuals fosters bad governance; and I have witnessed much of that over the past 17 years while attending town/planning/zoning board meetings.

    • There has been so much deceit played by the town and developers over the years that when some of us contacted development county and DEC agencies on violations of building code, sometimes fines were enacted and other times we were told that if your town doesn’t give a **** on how the town is developed why should we care.

    • Developers have ruled in this town; putting in substandard roads that the town now has to repair; destroying and filling in valuable wetlands with bogus wetland delineations and claiming they were not interconnected and/or not state regulated; getting away with putting sewer lines in wetlands and even the south branch of Ellicott Creek.

    • The DEMS claim in their bios they will work to improve the infrastructure; you mean the infrastructure they allowed to fail.

    • The DEMS will work to address the traffic/traffic safety problems the town is having with overburdened roads; overburdened two lane county roads they claim they can do nothing about because they are county roads, but continue to build out around.

    • Breezy has a problem when I use the term, “It is my understanding.” I use that term because in today’s world there is so much political spin going on it is difficult to believe anyone or anything said.

Breezy says he hears a lot of things; like Fudoli is hated and he puts that out there without substantiation. Delusional people act the same.

Its been brought out before and this begs for the question to be raised again
    - Who actually controls the budget preparation and what is put in and whats taken out
    - what the numbers are
    - and where the actual money spent went ?

Yes, most tax payers say - "Its the Supervisors budget" - " It the Towns Budget" and so on. The Town Board votes on the content as a whole !

But lets get down to who writes it ?

Who's the Wizard behind the curtain - who's the quiet man seldom seen - rarely heard from and knows where every penny goes and just how much is needed to accomplish the budget lines ?

The Finance minister - he creates the maze of titles and code numbers - the endless trail of transfers and money shifts - what comes in and from whom/where/why !

Ever try to read the actual budget - I mean read it and track where the money is going ? Did you ever try to under stand all the extensions under each department or revenue stream ?

These obvious exaggerations disclosed here are just part of the story
    - false projections
    - unfilled but budgeted positions
    - and so on.

It takes a vary inventive person with help from others to actually make this all look kosher to outsiders. He has to work closely with others to make these moves to cover spending money that isn't there and might not be coming in from actual sources.

So if the Lan Dem Controllers shift a departments needs or wants to make it all look balanced or at least look as though it could be - who would they need to work with - who can arrange and rearrange the needed budget projection lines ?

The Director of Finance works at the pleasure of the supervisor not the town board. The supervisor could name anyone he wants to that post.
