The end of Lancasters Tamany Hall era is finally in sight -

Many things have definitely changed for the better in Lancaster
- many newer employees can now start to see the light !

They are tired of how things were Politically speaking
- they are tired of being restricted by Politicians games.

Some changes came about due to repeated public exposure
- some changes have come because - try as the Controllers might - they cant corrupt all the new employees like the good old boys were.

The newer Town Employees/people will appear to "Play the Game"(When they have too) - but they actually have the personal integrity/education and morals to not cover for or mimic those doing the Party's bidding ! - Thank You All !


Less than 7+/- years ago the entire tax funded Governmental system was run by Political kiss ares . Then the Lan Dem Committee was taken over by the "Sons of Patronage."

The past Lan Dem Committee and the "Son's of Patronage" were lead by T. Mc Cracken. Under his guidance - it was perhaps the lowest level of Politics ever played in Lancaster !

The Police Dept was run by a Real-estate Broker/ Lawyer who was a real-estate broker and was so corrupt he ordered one Officer to change a traffic accident report to benefit his female friend. His Official Police car was ticketed multiple times in the City of Buffalo - where it was commonly understood he was filing real-estate closings - while on duty .

In the last five years or more - the new Officers have had to carry the dead weight Party Good Old Boys. Some understood why the Good Old Boys were Politically protected !

The new guys/gals had to hope they didn't get paired up with or have to rely on the often inebriated older dead wood Party Players. Luckily some retired and some were promoted to positions where they couldn't put anyone else in harms way.

Most Party Playin insiders packed the OT and sucked up enough of the cash from their new cookie jobs/appointments/promotions and finally retired.
Thank God.

- the Court was run by a Party guy who would settle cases at pool side - if you were wired !

The Town Hall was also dominated by people conducting real-estate concerns on the side. Those who weren't into real-estate were mainly Patronage appointed Lan Dem Party Loyal.

The Town Attorney was conducting his personal law practice while running (physically) between the Town Hall (21 Central Ave.)- his office five doors down (27 Central Ave.) and pleading DWI cases in front of his Party Judge friend(Court House on Pavement Rd). Yet, he still wanted over time for actually having to show up at Town Hall Meetings -

The Giza/Stempniak era is coming to a much awaited end !

This could be a great positive turning point for Lancaster's future
- tax revenue could finally be used to correct infra structure
- instead of creating unneeded high paying patronage positions.
- tax paying residents needs will finally out weigh the needs of developers
- Closed door deals will no longer be the norm
- The new open door practices brought about by our new Supervisor will expand into the Town Clerks Office
- Town purchases will return to the legal State Bid process, instead of orders/contracts being passed to Lan Dem Committee Supporters/Contributors
- Promotions/hiring for all tax funded employee's/positions will finally be based on honest qualifications and not heritage.

November is coming
- will voters give in to the standard tax and spend status quo Lan Dem Committee ?
Will Town Employee's stand up for their own futures
or just leave it up to the Lan Dem Committee ?
