I seriously think you need to get your head or eyes examined. The post has been up since 5 this morning.

I think Ralph needs to have a long talk with his committee people. I'm assuming they realize they have a mission statement for their party. If reviewing past endorsements it seems they are not following that mission statement.

The first question was posted on July 24th. The story broke on the 22nd? Your post is on the 27th.

I think the question on the 24th was fair to ask and thus my comment on it. Asking the question has nothing to do with the answer.....

Here is my opinion on the issue. I have read your stuff for years. Don't agree with almost all of it but it's well written and researched and I think we all need to read differing views. It's also biased in what you cover and what you

In this time you have written for WNYmedia and now Daily Public. In doing so, you're a (paid?) public voice. While being better written and researched than most of the garbage by local 'journalists', you can't be considered one as you only write from a specific perspective. You admit to as much, which is fine. But there is a spectrum between journalist and personal blogger. You fall in the middle as a public editorialist in my view but at times I think you try and project as simply a blogger. I don't agree with this.

In being a public voice , it does not matter that you don't write full time, have a day job or a family and it's fair for the public to question your commentary. It's fair for for you to say I write what I want and when I want...that's the gig. Of course you don't have to say that but if you would just say you're a biased editorialist who writes about what they want and when they want...the thread could have been closed in a single reply to a valid question.

We need bias editorial content in my opinion to complement journalism...true unbiased journalism, IMHO. The problems start when either you don't present all sides of biased content or try to pass off editorial content as journalism.

    Just my 2cents...

    Thanks for your kind words.

I generally write stuff in advance now, and for a variety of reasons the writing I do for the Public is different from what I used to do because there's no dedicated blog presence there - my work is alongside that of others, and I write it more or less so it's print-ready, if necessary. Gone are the days of doing a quick two-sentence "f this guy" post. It has to be better than that, and that's what I'm trying to do.

The Mascia stuff came about towards the end of a week when I simply didn't have time to address it the way I thought was necessary. I wrote what was posted this morning over Saturday and Sunday, and I think it's quite adequate.

Now that answers two questions - he needed his "editors" input and then he had to get the correct current "Dem Party Lines"

Its no wonder he has another job - who'd pay him a living wage for the Party driven slop he serves up ! He should be writing comic books - at least your find his "work" under the proper heading at the pornography store .

OH MY GOD - NOT ANOTHER PARTY LAWYER/LIAR !
#Dems play musical chairs + patronage and nepotism = entitlement !

    No problem.

I do wish some of the active voices in local media would apply the same focus you have on the 'right' to the 'left' if you will. I understand that may be difficult for you personally as you travel in those circles but it's still needed if anything is going to change. Sadly, there is dirt in both the front and back yard but only one side of the house seems to get attention....
