    YOU GOT THAT RIGHT.. we usually vote for the school budget. I think last time they had a art exhibit for the parents the day they held the vote

    That vote should have been held during the general election in 2015 when many more people turn out to vote.
    I might be wrong but I think the voters were limited to the residents that live in Clarence Fire district 1 not the whole town. Six years ago, they showed up to vote a bond down to build a new fire hall. Like Dan Roman said - so the voters decided that a firehall addition was necessary.
