Even if you disagree with everything I said, even if you decide to be an incorrigible moron and disregard 100% of the evidence and sources, the results are the same: women don't make up a large majority of the workforce. This is the smoking gun. There is no disputing this. Women make up about 51% of the workforce, according to the US Department of Labor1. So either companies don't want to save 23% on their wages, or the "77%" wage gap number is bull****, because both can't be true. We know for a fact that companies are willing to break immigration laws by hiring illegal aliens to pay them less, so why would they draw the line there and not hire women as well if they could simply pay them less? If wage discrimination is as wholesale and sweeping as critics claim, and women are just as equal and capable as men—and they are—then we should see a significant bump in employment figures for women. We don't because the 77% figure is misleading.

You make a great point here! Why do we sit around and swallow these ridiculous premiss and outright lies? The progressives have lulled the lazy and the poor into a accepting what ever the government will give them for free. This gives them a very large voting block. Those that receive the free cheese don't want someone else to come along and take away what they are entitled to. They are wholly convinced that this is true as well. One lie after another. The people need to wake up and start to get involved. Find out what is really going on. Point out the lies and stop believing them. Once a liar is found out, stop believing anything they say! It seems that some people would rather believe a lie that gives them comfort than the stark reality of the truth.
