Will the calculated amount of income for the personal use of the take home vehicle also be included as part of their pension calculation?
Whats wrong with the Town Clerks office helping out - she has the biggest amount of the Town Hall staff under her control.
Isnt it also the Town Atorneys job to over see Town Policy ?
Its obvious what Councilman Stempniak is doing - time and time again.
Most of the issues Supervisor Foduli is dealing with have been pushed aside for many years.
First by the Giza/Stempniak crew and lately the four controlling members. Every time a question is raised about a long standing issue - Councilman Stempniak aims it at the Supervisor.
These people know full well he has the most limited staff and gets almost no help from the Town Clerks. As a matter of fact - the Town Clerks Office fascilitates the Party stone walling of the Supervisor.
These Party Players need to atleast pretend they work for the tax payers - instead of always blocking things for Political reasons.
The obstructionist four Dem Cheerleaders need to realize they work for the Town Home owners - not the Party Chairman or its total control agenda.
Pass the buck and play dumb - make excuses for the misuse and abuse that they know full well is atleast 10 years in the making - if not more.
Supervisor Foduli has proven we can trim spending if our elected officials actualy want too.
The four dancers have proven they want more Party Patronage.
What do voters want ?

First off Grump, I and many of the individuals who post on this thread love living in Lancaster, notwithstanding the politics that in the past that kept residents uniformed and in the dark on town policies, and where they got away with hiring practices that reeked of political friends and family practices. Except for one administration (1992-1996) the DEMS have had total control over the town board/planning/zoning boards and voted in fellow DEMS to appointed positions. Hey, to the victor go the spoils.
That said:
There is no Human Resource Department or Director in Lancaster.
There isn’t, and never has been to my knowledge, an Employee Handbook published – a book that would detail job description expectations - cell phone policy, Internet policy, etc.
It is Supervisor Fudoli’s Department that will be in charge of publishing one for all departments – working with an outside company familiar with such boilerplate policies.
The process was initiated by Supervisor Fudoli’s department and will be directed from there. This is but another move to change the direction of the town by bringing in transparency, openness, and employee accountability. Another move to put Lancaster in the 21st century, as was the updated town website, Fudoli’s support for Highway Superintendent Dan Amatura to bring use of the mothballed GIS system into play, and in spending money to update highway vehicles and equipment that dated back 20- 30 years ago.
It would be fitting for the town to examine the Lancaster Central School District employee handbook which spells out in great detail what a handbook should entail.
On another matter, it is hard to believe that employees are still use timesheets to clock in and out of work. I asked at the recent meeting whether the town was near implementing a finger identification system that Fudoli had considered several months ago – a more secure practice than a scan card method he is now advocating. It is my opinion he is doing so in believing the union would not agree to negotiate such use in the contract; based on privacy infringement.
Fudoli is taking the town out of the stone ages. In the past the mantra of the town board was, “We won the election and in doing so we were given a mandate to act in whatever way we feel is best for the town.”
Unless Fudoli gets elected next year, along with a couple of council members, he is but one of five votes and it’s back to the status quo. This will become evident when the DEMS put back into the budget two positions Fudoli suggested eliminating.
But then again the Republicans have to do better in door-to-door campaigning than what was done in the last board election – and is being exemplified by Town Justice candidate Jeremy Colby; and as clean a campaign that can be had.

Why is there such resistance among Department heads and those who control tax funded Town owned vehicles to:
Pick one:
1) Have log books in vehicles.
2) Vehicle sign out/in sheets.
3) Fuel useage tracking.
Tax payers fund all Town Vehicles - all the maintenance work - insurance - fuel costs.
The fuel delivery station at the Lancaster High School is supposed to generate reports - don't those reports go to Town Hall ?
Who at Town Hall revues these reports - someone has to use them for budget reasons - don't they ?
Are the rumors true that some "On call Personal" use their vehicles for personal reasons ?
Is it true - as has been reported - some Town Vehicles are unmarked and swapped around between departments with no true records of there use ?
