Trey Gowdy Destroys IRS commissioner John Koskinen

Look. The Obama Administration is probably going to get away with this IRS scandal. Not so much because they are good at what they do but rather they have a complete and utter indifference to the American public. That said, you can't blame them because the majority of Americans are complete morons who simply want to think they did not make the right choice in electing Obama twice.

Either the gov't is more inept than I thought, and they really did have the had person's email on the local pc instead of an email server with retention and backup policies in place
or this administration is even more corrupt and holds the people in even greater contempt than I thought

in either case it shows a need for a major house cleaning at all levels of gov't

This needs to be the tax return of every freedom loving American next year. The best way to stop them is cut off the money supply.

Just a lot of incompetence out in "Government Inc" land.

You wouldn't care if it didn't cost the net tax payer/property/business owners money. YET ever notice they take pay raises on average for time served not for a job well performed.

In defense of Mr. Koskinen he wasn't there when this was going on. So basically he is just going to parrot what he is told. Right?

Yeah, bonuses. Forgot about that. I wonder if cooking the books which resulted in the death of veterans could lead to some type of wrongful death criminal charges.

Spoliaton of evidence. Why is there a double standard when it comes to retaining records, purposely destroying them and lying when it comes to the IRS and Joe Blow taxpayer? Nogods, what would happen if a taxpayer purposely destroyed records to mislead the IRS?

How does a statement like this not raise questions of wrongdoing? Liberals care to answer?

I think it is complete BS. Only way you are going to stop it is to start at the bottom and make examples of the people who make a life style of "elected positions"

House investigators: IRS tech experts say Lerner’s hard drive only 'scratched,' not destroyed

House investigators said Tuesday that the computer hard drive of ex-agency official Lois Lerner -- a key figure in the IRS targeting scandal -- was only “scratched,” not irreparably damaged, as Americans have been led to believe.

GOP-led Ways and Means Committee investigators, in their quest to recover missing Lerner emails, learned her hard drive was damaged but recoverable by talking to IRS information-technology experts, after the government originally refused to make them available, according to the committee.

“It is unbelievable that we cannot get a simple, straight answer from the IRS about this hard drive,” said committee Chairman Dave Camp.

IRS has ‘no excuses’ for latest twist in email saga, says IT expert

The IRS has “no excuses” for the latest twist in the saga of its missing emails, says an expert in electronic discovery.

“Whether it’s incompetence or deliberate obstruction, the IRS has no excuses for having handled this so poorly,” said Bruce Webster, partner at Provo, Utah-based IT consulting and expert witness firm Ironwood Experts.
