Maybe they can't pay their bills and their phone lines are tied up all day with debt collector calls.
A collections agency in Amherst will close in July, eliminating 121 total jobs.
Primary Financial Services LLC filed a WARN notice this week with the state Department of Labor. The call center at 95 John Muir Drive plans to shut down on July 11 due to “economic” reasons, according to the notice.

121 out of work here and 121 new hires in Bangladesh
Let me articulate this for you:
"I'm not locked in here with them. They're locked in here with me!!"

Just curious, does anyone know the sum total of their tax breaks / tax payments per worker? Is this going to be a net gain or loss?
Furthermore, the collections model is based on making money on debt that for good reason was written off by other agencies. It's a risky business venture and so they could not compete.
Don't forget no benefits. Nobody should be entitled to working conditions other than what they have in 2nd and 3rd world countries. That's why foreign labor is so successful and Americans are losing. Workers here won't work 18 hour days with no breaks.ACTUALLY...only 75 hired, and they work 18 hr days with a 10 minute unpaid lunch!
