im curious, how is it that in the obama worldview, that the ONLY people whowever get laid off are teachers, firemen, and cops ? oh, how about school ADMINISTRATORS? doesn't anyone in the private sector ever get laid off? pepoel working in restaurants ? waiters? dishwashers,becaus ebusiness is slow? Don't secretaries and office assistants get laid off ? people that work at small businesses ..they get laid off but the businesses are so small we dont see it in the national news..just the local level.

Of course, O's speechwriters are children, he doesn't even write the stuff..he just parrots it. (have some fun..watch his eyes during his talks..he has ZERO eye contact with audience. Zero. he's glued to the prompter...until he goes off message and into his preacher like pronouncements)

but is he REALLY that myopic to think that the ONLY thing americans care about is cops firemen and teachers?...(or is it only because that's where they have quota systems..and no one advances by merit just by time served?)

You want to have some real fun? google around these terms obama 1992, obama 1996...obama 1995. You get the idea...etc etc etc. You'll start to get a look into this guys past. You'll see the stories that would have SUNK his election hopes if the media even dared to mention any of it. I'm not saying everything you'll see is verified as fact...BUT, the point is, the media is investigating and publicizing ANYTHING to do with any O challenger,,,yet the media conveniently ignores ANYTHING about Obama before 2008, as if he didnt exist before then.

Take a good look at the story, with photo, of O's class that he taught at Univ of Chi Law School...see what the required reading was , as stated in the syllabus.

this guy was never vetted, not by anyone. But..somewhere, somehow,,,SOMEONE or some group has been steadily grooming this guy all along. (LOL...anyone remember the movie the Omen? LOL).

slowly but surely, the wheels are going to continue falling off this administration. its a fraud on the american people.

I despise the news coverage when teachers get laid off. They never tell the whole side of the story.

The other side is...new teachers fresh to the job are being cut because schools can not afford the overall labor cost. You never hear anyone ask about the compensation of teachers who are 10, 15 or even 20 years in.

Just having the full discussion is a huge step.

I haven't heard of any teachers, police, or fireman being laid off in the area. In the areas that I have, it's been due to the mismanagement of the politicians in the area.

Did the President actually say that? I don't understand how Obama could be that out of touch with how much the average person is struggling right now to get by. That is really unfortunate and I wouldn't be surprised if it costs him some votes. Very naive in my opinion, especially with the unemployment rate back up to nearly 9% (not even including those who've stopped looking for work).

it IS quite amazing, almost as if he's paid to endorse govt union jobs every time he opens his mouth.

he actually said that the only..and i believe he did say "ON:Y" places that were really hurting were where govt union people had been laid off, yup, the cops, teachers, firemen....again. As if those are the onl y3 careers that matter. He blamed local govts for havin to lay pepole off because they dont have enough Federal $$ to keep the $$ going in to the local govts.

His comment was quite revealing actually, as it does tell you, quite explicitly that , the motivation for the original stimulus was to have $$ going to the local govts to keep got union peeps on payrolls (and union dues back to Dem party). So..Barry O...was tipping his hand that he wants more $$ to give to local govts.

So, yes, how far out of touch is this guy? Wa she not paying attention to Wisconsin? Barry O is evidently on the payroll of some much higher authority with VERY deep pockets. r..is he really that clueless as to what makes an economy work? it's not govt union people with $$ from next taxpayers.

but yes..he said that..and you know he does mean it.
