During the primaries, Hillary attempted to solicit my mother for campaign donations.
My father found this odd for two reasons.
1) She hadn't registered to vote in several years and was NEVER registered as a Democrat.
2) She's been dead for the last seven years.

I can understand the humor in this, and it is funny....
It's just NOT funny when people ACTUALLY believe this. This has been one of the big problems I've seen with partisan politics in our country in the past 10 years or so.
Sarah Palin and George Bush are NOT brain dead. Hillary Clinton is NOT Satan. Obama is NOT a socialist.
I wish, for America's sake, that people could talk with each other and say things like 'Obama's latest tax plan to increase the taxes on the rich, if continuously increased year after year, would result in a society that is more towards socialism' - instead of an attack like 'Obama is a socialist'.
Same thing for Sarah Palin. I wish Republicans could admit that she has 'said a few stupid things'. But she is not stupid overall. You might not agree with her thought process, but admit that it is one way of thinking of things.
