And basically the board members who do not oversee the department where an issue may be can just ignore the issue. Correct? and nothing ever gets done. Correct?

Only the related board member is prohibited from participating in employment matters about relatives. The entire board is not prohibited from acting.

But they can just chose to ignore the issue because the person who should be fired is not in their department. Correct?

But nothing forces them to act. They can just bury their head in the sand. Correct?

What do you want to force them to do?

If you have a complaint about a particular employee then file a complaint - of have Ted tell Angela to propose a resolution about firing the employee.

Holtz said she is against limiting terms for town officials. “From my point of view, I don’t believe in term limits,” she said. “The public makes the decisions.”

Ms. Holtz, if the public makes the decisions, then why not have a public hearing on the subject and see if the public is in favor of term limits

Why waste time and resources having a hearing on term limits when the voters already have it in their power to limit a person's term?

What part of voting don't the losers understand?

Ted can't beat Mary so Ted want's to make sure Mary can't run again so he has a chance of winning.

That is all the Angela Morton term limit proposal is about. nothing more,
