Weinstein promised to downsize the board, starting with his own seat.

But then again, maybe his business partner is looking for a new position, now that the election is over.

personally, I say special election but I think BW doesn't support downsizing just the public's right to vote on it. so I think it will be filled only to get downsized when the town residents vote on the issue.

all in all - a maximum of a one year term.

"I am in favor of downsizing the board, starting with my own seat." Barry Weinstein quoted from a statement at a candidate's forum just prior to this election.

Are you saying this was only said to get votes from those who favor downsizing?

no. I wrote that quickly. He does favor downsizing but he won't downsize his own seat until the public referendum states that they want that.

I shouldn't write posts while heading into meeting with vendors.

The BW seat will go unfilled

The seat vacated by Weinstein will go unfilled. The republicans don't need the seat or the vote. Lone democrat Manna will not be a factor. If we are lucky - Manna will be a loud non-factor and keep his eyes open and his voice loud.
