Feel Safe.

I'm sure that what I'm posting here could be tagged in most any community, but I happened to witness it it Tonawanda.

As I waited for my cup-o-Joe at Sheridan & Belmont there must have been someone nearby in need of emergency care. A lights-a-flashin' TTPD screamed from Belmont to travel East on Sheridan... another came from seemingly out of nowhere further down Sheridan... as I continued down Sheridan, another TTParamedic flew out of the police station... and another TTPD black & white headed from Delaware Road to join the others. Yet another still made a u-turn from in front of that school and fitness center across from the police station. There may have been others, I dunno.

The impression that I got was that when someone is in need the TT services converge from all over the place to help. Really makes ya feel safe. And, i suppose, if you are a TT taxpayer, you should feel proud. If you are TT cop or EMT, you should definitely feel proud.

Again, I'm sure this happens lots-n-lots all over WNY, but I thought I'd sgare my good experience in the T of T.

I hope that whoever was in need is gonna be fine.

TTPD is has a reputation of having one of the fastest response times in the area. The police/paramedics in the town are very good at handling medical emergencies. (I'd hope they would be)

Maybe the good citizens of TT should spring for some radios so all of their emergency personal don't all sprint to the same incident - just in case someone else needs help a few minutes after the first call.
