So, you would have people from New York City, Albany, Plattsburgh, and Corning not help fund roadworks by the DOT, State Police, DEP, Courts, Child & Family Services, Corrections, DMV, etc., that form the basis of a representative democratic society in the 21st century?
They (for the most part) have advanced degrees, are professionals, and work longer hours during the school year than many in the private sector, all for a good reason, and they are planning curricula for September well before the school year begins.Its a part time job, they get a pension and have the best health insurance plan in the state with the least contribution. When is it going to be enough?
