If anyone needs more information please use this website and please pay particular attention on this website about how fire companies or districts are funded. 90% by TAXES! NYS says so. Slitter and others have been corrected!!!

I wonder what the state says on waste management???

To really know the age, you would have to measure it.

If it stands much taller than most, it may just be a new Super Juicer - Compactor.

What matters most is not the age, but how many trucks came to pick up your trash.

If the whole fleet came, I'd report it.

As far as looks - don't be deceived. It's the unseen condition that should concern you.

They may wash and wax them after completing the route. Especially if they're used to go up all those long, steep muddy, narrow driveways in town.

As requested, I agree, today is now officially "V10 Day".

Today will be dedicated to understanding the features & benefits so we can decide how many more of these are needed to maintain safety.

    boston99,

Iknow one way the Town Board can control the Fire Company budget and that would be NOT TO CONTRACT WITH THE PATCHIN FIRE COMPANY in the future.

    Mr. Boardway,
I just read the point system audit. What an embarrassment how can we expect them to answer fire calls and effectively and efficiently spend our tax dollars when they cant even keep track of a simple points system that is required for there pensions?

Iknow I am going to tell all the seniors that I can to write or call your council person and demand some answers. But thats right the 4th girl, slitter and Boston99 think its all political. The town board is always picking on Patchin. Now I can see why.

The other question I had for Slitter Why do we need a tanker in the Valley? There is public water throughout the valley. What trucks are on the other hill?

    Here we go again

I never said fire companies werent funded by tax dollars, I was comparing it to your garbage company vs fire company funding thingy.......

Your rebuilding post said it cost them over $700,000 to rebuild it. The fire companies in this town barely spend $200,000 on a brand new truck.......

I believe the only people that mentioned Patchin here was yourself and over the valley.......

Who ever said there was a tanker in the valley? Its on zimmerman where there is no public water...........

As for your garbage pickup being unsanitary and overrun by rats......Are you saying this is a problem in concord? Are they living in filth?

    Anything Else????

After much thought, not renewing the Patchin contract would be the best choice.

Calls can then be addressed from the North Boston and Boston outer limits with a pre-defined meeting point in the middle.

Funny how you are quick to point out on the other thread that I did not stay on topic, Now on a thread based on "a new proposed hall for Boston Fire co", you repeatedly bring up eliminating a contract with Patchin and trucks that Patchin does not use. Please take your own advice valley.......

The discussion for another fire hall must involve the need for closure as well.

This is both in line with the issue and also the responsible action to take.

Carrying on about brush fires, power line calls, driveway conditions, expressing jealousy towards the garbage truck company, posting links to toy trucks for sale on e-bay, referring to internet pornography, discussing different brands of sneakers and government cheese programs along with former membership issues is totally irrelevant and way off topic.

Stay focused and try to be more polite.

Nice to see Councilman Boardway is finally showing some consistency: NO BALLS. Every other week the three genuises have the opportunity to do the right thing, but can't pull it off. The Boston Fire Co. has met ALL their stipulations, ALL of them. They have a valid site plan. There are no conflicts with any neighbors. The site plan was recommended to the Board by the planning board not once, but TWICE. Those guys are volunteers, yet you keep jerking them around. Those guys protect my house and giving them the run around because they talked back to you in the fall of 2010. Looks pretty vindictive from my taxpayer perspective. They were supposed to be in their new place last fall and a year delay will certainly jack up the cost of the same project. None of this is a secret. All I did was go to their public open house last October. The pictures and plans were tacked up on the wall, and I just nosed around and asked a few questions. I was impressed with the straight forward answers I got from them. The assistant town attorney must be in your back pocket too. She summed it up last Wednesday when she said "You can't trick me into having an oppinion."

Welcome back Boston99. So it is Kelly Vacco's turn for your nonsense. I guess you're running out of playmates.

It's really too bad. If you only knew 10% of what you think you know, you might be of some benefit to our community. In days gone by, you used to be.

As far as hiding in plain sight.........that's not as easy as you thought it was either.

Talk to the current Chief of Boston. He will bring you up to speed. I stress "current" Chief.

Other than that, have a nice day. I know this heat must be hell on you. -jay

Every day must be a struggle in your miserable life.....in a way, I kinda feel sorry for you.
I never said I had no idea about most of the things you said I said I had no idea about.
