I really don't see much similarity between the civil rights era struggles for black equality and the current gay marriage movement. Frankly, many blacks from that era find it highly offensive to compare the two. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, it's just completely different.

People don't come here or more likely move out of state because they are gay, black or christian

they move and perpetuate the decline of an area because the state doesn't know how to keep/attract businesses and people.


I have to face the facts that I most likely will be separated from my kids because there is little eco,nomic opportunity..not because they are gay, black, christian etc. etc.

just my opinion backed by the thousands that leave here
